Dr. David Kreiner
I’m a physician practicing medicine for 40 years. In recent years I have suffered from insomnia and arthritic pain in both wrists and thumbs. I don’t take NSAIDS (Aspirin, Ibuprofen/Advil) due to the risk they pose to the heart. Fortunately, I found I can control the pain with CBD cream which I apply daily every morning. At bedtime I take a CBD capsule and tincture which help with sleep and for the pain. Presently, the only other supplement I take for pain is turmeric so that I find the CBD with the turmeric suffices without conventional pain medication which as a physician I think is too risky to take. If you also suffer from pain, I highly recommend trying CBD.
CBD is short for cannabidiol. It is just one of many different molecules known as cannabinoids found in the cannabis and hemp plants. CBD has many beneficial properties and is commonly used to promote overall wellness.
Many people use CBD to promote a state known as homeostasis, the body’s natural tendency to maintain a healthy balance in all its systems. Cannabinoids are an integral part of the human body’s ability to regulate and balance a wide variety of physiological systems. CBD is also used by some for specific purposes such as supporting a good night’s rest or maintaining well-functioning joints.
